On September 27^th the Women, Land & Legacy team of Madison Co. hosted a Movie Night showing “FarmHer: The Documentary” at Covered Bridges Winery. 23 women were in attendance and it was a good mix of new and familiar faces from different parts of Madison Co.

In addition to the film showing, the evening included background on Madison Women, Land & Legacy and upcoming events for women landowners and farmers, group introductions with women sharing where they’re from and why they attended the event, and an informal presentation by Jean Fifo and Rose Boyle, co-owners of Covered Bridges Winery. The evening ended with a few group questions including, “Do you think agriculture poses more challenges to women?  If so, in what ways?  And how has that changed over the years?”.
