…she said that that is one thing that attracts her to WLL is that it is locally driven and the listening session is just the beginning with planned long term follow up through learning sessions, meeting locally identified needs… a brilliant structure! She really likes how the USDA agencies provide the staff time, though the success is dependent on non-agency involvement. She feels that staff support will help maintain sustainability. She especially likes that we listen! She said it is great that the agency & state team do not come with preconceived notions of what local women want but ask them & listen, taking action accordingly.
